    IBPS SO Marketing Officer Exam Highlights 

    The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the CRP SPL-XV notification to recruit Specialist Officers (Scale I) for the 2026-27 cycle. In the Marketing Officer stream, there are 350 posts across categories.

    Online registration and fee payment (₹175 for SC/ST/PwBD; ₹850 for others) run from July 1, 2025, to July 21, 2025. Candidates must complete their application and payment within this window.

    The IBPS SO Preliminary exam for Marketing Officer will be held online in August 2025. This two-hour test carries 150 questions—50 each in English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude—for a total of 125 marks, with 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.

    Shortlisted candidates will move on to the Main exam in November 2025. The Marketing Officer Main exam is a 45-minute objective test of 60 professional-knowledge questions, also for 60 marks, available in both English and Hindi.

    Those who clear the Main exam will be called for a common interview in December 2025 or January 2026, with provisional allotment following in January/February 2026 based on vacancies and merit.

    As a Marketing Officer (Scale I) under the IBPS Specialist Officer cadre, you will join on the Scale I pay band with a starting basic pay of ₹48,480, rising in periodic increments up to ₹85,920.
